Face Lift Surgery
The incision runs in the hairline above and in front of the ear, around it and into the hairline behind, so scars follow natural creases. Closure uses sutures and staples in the hairline.
This full face lift guide explains how Dr. Leonard Grossman performs a total facelift: a SMAS or deep plane lift chosen for your aging pattern, incisions hidden in the hairline and around the ear to keep scarring minimal, and fat grafting to replace lost volume. Your expressions are preserved, and recovery is designed so most patients need no drain tubes, compression garments or special pillows, with surgery performed at his Brooklyn surgery center.

Procedures that are often combined with a full face lift to treat the brows, eyes, cheeks and neck together.
The incision runs in the hairline above and in front of the ear, around it and into the hairline behind, so scars follow natural creases. Closure uses sutures and staples in the hairline.
Neck lift variations are planned before surgery and may include platysmaplasty for muscle bands, Renuvion tightening and ultrasound-assisted liposuction of the neck.
Offered for brows that are truly low or uneven. Because brows often rise with age, Dr. Grossman may restore the area with fat instead.
Lifted through an incision inside the mouth plus a small temple incision, or by revolumizing with fat, to support the lower eyelids and soften a tired look.
Botox, fillers, Lutronic CO2 laser and Renuvion can refine skin and lines after a lift or serve patients not ready for surgery.
Purified fat, rich in your own stem cells, is placed in the cheeks, temples and jawline. Dr. Grossman has used this technique since 1993, with or without a lift.
A full face lift with Dr. Leonard Grossman treats sagging skin and deep wrinkles across the face and, if needed, the neck. He chooses a SMAS or deep plane technique for your aging pattern, tightens the muscle layer with permanent stitches and removes skin without undue tension, so you will not look as if you were in a wind tunnel. The operation typically takes several hours, and fat grafting is often added to restore volume. The practice standard is local anesthesia with advanced IV sedation rather than general anesthesia, and your anesthesia plan is confirmed at consultation.

A full face lift that respects your expressions and features, planned by a surgeon who thinks in volume as well as tension.
A SMAS or deep plane facelift is recommended based on your aging pattern and the result you want.
Fat grafting restores lost fullness, so the face looks younger instead of stretched or windswept.
Your facelift is performed at his own AAAHC-accredited outpatient center in Brooklyn, and you recover at home that night.
Dr. Grossman's facelift techniques are designed so most patients need no drain tubes, compression garments or special pillows, and patients rarely report much pain.

There is no posted price for a full face lift, because the cost varies significantly by geographic location and from one face to the next. Your quote depends on how much loose skin and laxity you have, whether a SMAS or deep plane technique is used, whether the neck is included and how much fat grafting is added. Dr. Grossman gives you a personalized quote at consultation, and financing options are available through Cherry and Prosper Healthcare Lending.
Ask Dr. Grossman whether a total lift, a mini lift or fat grafting suits your face.
