Rhinoplasty Surgery
Open or closed surgery to smooth a bump, lift or shorten the tip, narrow or widen the nose, or correct a past fracture or breathing problem, with no compression garments and little need for narcotics afterward.
Dr. Leonard Grossman performs African American rhinoplasty in New York City with one goal: a nose that is in harmony with your face and still looks like yours. He can smooth a bump, refine or lift the tip, and narrow or widen the nose through open or closed rhinoplasty, or reshape it without surgery using the Nose Job in a Bottle, a term he coined. Surgery takes place at his fully accredited surgery center in Brooklyn, and you go home the same day.

Surgical and non-surgical nose reshaping from one surgeon, planned so your nose fits the rest of your face.
Open or closed surgery to smooth a bump, lift or shorten the tip, narrow or widen the nose, or correct a past fracture or breathing problem, with no compression garments and little need for narcotics afterward.
The Nose Job in a Bottle, a term Dr. Grossman coined: Restylane or Radiesse placed with a microcannula in about 5 to 10 minutes while you watch in a mirror.
When the face needs balance beyond the nose, options include fat grafting with your own fat, fillers, eyelid surgery and chin augmentation.
African American rhinoplasty with Dr. Leonard Grossman starts from a simple idea: plastic surgery should enhance, not erase, who you are. He examines your nose against your whole facial structure, then chooses an open or closed approach, or his Nose Job in a Bottle with filler, to refine only what you want changed. Surgery is outpatient in his Brooklyn center. A closed approach keeps the incisions inside the nose, and when an open approach is needed, the small incision beneath the tip is placed so the scar heals discreetly. His recovery protocol avoids compression garments and keeps the need for narcotics to a minimum, so most patients rest comfortably at home.

Surgery takes place in his AAAHC-accredited outpatient center on Emmons Avenue, and you go home the same day.
Changes are planned against your whole face, with incisions kept discreet, so the result looks like you, not a template nose.

Reconstructive and Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Leonard Grossman is a Brooklyn, New York City plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than 30 years of experience and a pioneer of Organic Plastic Surgery, using patients' own fat in place of synthetic materials. In 1995 he completed a fully accredited plastic surgery residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Texas; his practice reports he became the first American plastic surgeon to use Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction that year. He pioneered calf augmentation with fat grafting in 1995 and, by his practice's count, has performed more than 4,500 calf augmentations. He operates at his fully accredited (AAAHC) surgery center at 3039 Emmons Ave in Brooklyn. Recognized by the Castle Connolly Guide, Vitals.com and RateMDs.com, he is dedicated to privacy, professionalism, and helping patients make informed decisions about their care.
Dr. Grossman gives no set price or flat fee for an ethnic rhinoplasty. Rhinoplasty costs vary significantly from one city to another, and two noses that share the same procedure name rarely need the same work: your quote depends on whether the bridge, the tip, the width or breathing is addressed, how complex the change is, whether an open or closed approach is needed and whether a past fracture is being corrected. After a detailed examination you receive a personalized quote, and financing options are available through Cherry and Prosper Healthcare Lending. Paying for a rhinoplasty done right the first time is far less costly than a corrective operation later.
