Cheek Lift
Repositions and tightens the midface through an incision inside the mouth and a small temple-hairline incision, in about one to two hours under local or twilight anesthesia.
An endoscopic midface cheek lift is one way to lift sagging cheeks. Dr. Leonard Grossman lifts the midface through an incision inside the mouth and a small temple-hairline incision, or restores it with fat grafting, choosing the approach at consultation. The procedure takes about one to two hours under local or twilight anesthesia, with no compression garments or narcotics, and most patients are back to normal activities within a week.

Midface options matched to whether your cheeks have descended, deflated, or both.

Facial fat grafting restores the cheeks, under-eyes and temples with your own purified fat, with no diet restrictions afterward and a return to activities within days.
SMAS or deep plane facelifts, often combined with fat grafting, for patients whose jawline and neck need lifting along with the midface.
An endoscopic midface cheek lift is what many patients search for when their cheeks sit lower and their eyes look tired. Dr. Grossman’s cheek lift reaches the midface through an incision inside the mouth and a small incision in the temple hairline, both well hidden so scarring is minimal, aiming for a refreshed, natural-looking midface that still looks like you. It supports the lower eyelids and softens nasolabial folds. When the problem is lost volume rather than descent, he restores the cheeks with your own fat.

Cheek lift before-and-after photos are reviewed at consultation so you can see how lifting and fat restoration change the midface.
A midface plan shaped by his volume-first view of aging: lift only where tissue has truly descended, and restore with your own fat where volume has been lost.
An incision inside the mouth with a small temple incision, or lifting with your own fat.
He has restored cheek volume with patients’ own fat since 1993, an approach once considered radical.
If pulling your cheek doesn’t make you look younger, you need volume, and he will tell you so.
No compression garments, narcotics or special pillows; most return to normal activities within a week.

Reconstructive and Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Leonard Grossman is a Brooklyn, New York City plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than 30 years of experience and a pioneer of Organic Plastic Surgery, using patients' own fat in place of synthetic materials. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1985, completed his internship and General Surgery residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, and completed fellowships in Microsurgery at Montefiore Hospital and Burns and Reconstruction at Jacobi Hospital. In 1995 he completed a fully accredited plastic surgery residency at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Texas; his practice reports he became the first American plastic surgeon to use Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction that year. He pioneered calf augmentation with fat grafting in 1995 and, by his practice's count, has performed more than 4,500 calf augmentations. He operates at his fully accredited (AAAHC) surgery center at 3039 Emmons Ave in Brooklyn. Recognized by the Castle Connolly Guide, Vitals.com and RateMDs.com, he is dedicated to privacy, professionalism, and helping patients make informed decisions about their care.
Dr. Grossman gives no set price, because facial surgery costs vary significantly by geographic location and pricing depends on the procedure your midface actually needs. A surgical cheek lift, cheek fat grafting and a full facelift each involve different operating time, anesthesia and follow-up, and combining procedures changes the total. He decides the right approach at consultation and gives you a personalized quote, and financing options are available.
