The Kardashian “Klan” are no strangers to plastic surgery. Momager Kris Jenner has been quite forthcoming about her cosmetic enhancements and even papa Jenner himself has come forward to admit he’s had a few procedures. We all know Kim is a fan of Botox and facial fillers, but what about Khloe? With her recent weight loss and pending divorce, has the 29-year-old reality TV star and fashion designer turned to plastic surgery for help in looking her best?
Last year was one of the most eventful years in Khloe’s life. The youngest of the Kardashian girls told Cosmopolitan magazine that she’s “lost around 30 pounds, and I’m feeling good.”
Her goal now is to fit into a crop top and jeans and show off her newly toned physique. But did she have a little help in achieving those great looks? According to Khloe, the weight came off naturally, but given her family’s history going under the knife, could she been telling a little white lie to avoid public scrutiny?
These days, scrutiny over plastic surgery should not be a concern. Millions of people around the world have turned to procedures such as Liposuction, Abdominoplasty and Rhinoplasty to look and feel their best when diet and exercise just don’t produce results. The stigma behind cosmetic treatments has become a thing of the past, with both women and men admitting to their surgical past and preferences.
Khloe, who has been a little more private about her personal life than some of her other family members, may be feeling shy about coming forward with news of any surgical involvement, but she did tell the magazine that from a very early age, her mother pushed her to get plastic surgery.
“When I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job,” said Khloe. “I was shocked. I hadn’t even thought about it. I’ve grown into my face but I’ve had makeup artists tell me, ‘You should get a nose job.'”
While plastic surgery can improve one’s self esteem drastically, wanting a 9-year-old child to undergo surgery is uncalled for. New York Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Leonard Grossman is proud to provide quality treatments for adults who have taken the time to fully understand the decision to undergo surgery and individuals that may be younger, but who have experienced an accident or were born with a disfigurment. Plastic surgery is not a small decision, which is why the U.S. requires patients be 18 years of age and older for the majority of procedures.
But while Khloe may have been saddened by her mother’s remark, the confident starlet isn’t opposed to getting cosmetic surgery in the future.
“I’m not against it. One day I probably will, but it would be on my terms. I won’t be bullied into it by social media or anyone else. I love my body and always have,” she remarked.
On the other hand, her mom has reportedly spent around $1 million on surgical procedures, including two breast augmentations, liposuction and more.
There are different procedures that are geared toward different age groups, and we are glad to see Khloe taking her time to make the decision to undergo enhancement surgery.
