Calista Flockhart may be turning 49, but it looks like she’s turning back the hands of time. The former “Ally McBeal” actress looks just as good today as she did in her 20s, so what’s her secret? Is it plastic surgery?
Though she’s never admitted to it, it’s near impossible to look THAT good at 49. And some new pictures of the starlet have now surfaced making us think the secret to her youth really is plastic surgery.
Flockhart was photographed walking around Beverly Hills recently wearing some sunglasses and a casual dress. She looked good, but was she hiding something under the shades? There seemed to be some puffiness on her face that isn’t usually there. Could she have gotten some Botox? A mini facelift or just fat grafting? Injectible Fillers perhaps?
A few days ago at the Paranoia film premiere, Flockhart was looking absolutely radiant. These new pictures don’t do her justice, leading many to think she may have gotten a little help to keep her skin staying youthful and wrinkle-free.
Rumors have been circulating that Mrs. Harrison Ford did indeed get the European Mesotherapy called Restylane Vital to keep her skin taught and fresh. And if she did, she certainly wouldn’t be the first Hollywood celebrity to have some work done. After all, there is a lot of pressure to keep a radiant glow in the harsh rays of the lime light, so it wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary if Flockhart were to admit she had facial fillers.
There are several different types of fillers to choose from, including Evolence Injections, which work fantastically to fill in any hollows in the face that come about with age, weight loss or lack of skin elasticity. Radiesse Injections are another option for individuals who would like to add fullness to the face. Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm are some of the other Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based fillers that are very popular, yet quite safe.
It’s also possible that Flockhart tried Botox on her face. Unlike facial fillers, Botox is not a filler, but a mild paralyzing agent which affects only the muscles that are directly injected by the plastic surgeon, so the treatment must be redone every four or five months or so to maintain the best results. However, it is a wonderful alternative to fillers and facelifts, especially if the patient is Flockhart’s age, where a complete facelift might not be in order.
Individuals of all ages have turned to Botox to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and sometimes a little puffiness in the injection site is a normal side effect, but that usually disappears in about 15 minutes. There’s a big chance Flockhart was hiding puffiness due to Botox under her sunglasses, but we can only speculate.
Congrats to Flockhart if she did turn to plastic surgery or cosmetic treatments to stay looking this young and fantastic. There’s no doubt she looks great and can afford to flaunt her good looks with pride.
However, it’s important to remember that creating Flockhart’s radiant look should only be attempted by an experienced plastic surgeon. NYC Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Leonard Grossman has the longest history of any plastic surgeon in the world when it comes to the use of Hyaluronic Acid fillers like Restylane, Reviderm, Juvederm, Restylane Vital and Restylane Vital Lite as well as Belotera.
