Dr. Grossman received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1985. He went on to complete his internship and residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center from 1985 to 1988. In 1995 Dr. Grossman completed his Fully Accredited Plastic Surgery Residency at Texas A & M and the Scott & White Hospital after the completion of his fellowship in Microsurgery at the Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY in 1990 and Burns and Reconstruction fellowship at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx, NY in 1991.

Since performing his first Liposuction under all local anesthesia in 1993, Dr. Grossman realized that the only way to get an ideal or “a near perfect” result in liposuction is to have the procedure done with the patient standing. Since that time, with the compliment of excellent intravenous and local anesthesia, Dr. Grossman’s patients do not have any discomfort, anxiety or unpleasant memories of the procedure.

In 1995 Dr. Grossman became the first American Plastic Surgeon to utilize Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction technology that allowed difficult areas on the body (backs and breasts in men and women) to achieve excellent results with minimal down time.

As Dr. Grossman strives to help his patients achieve the best results and minimal setbacks, his technique has improved even more with the introduction of Power Assisted Liposuction and the use of extremely small cannulas, which are barely larger than a hospital needle. All of this allows patients, as a rule, to have minimal or no postoperative pain, minimal to no bruising at all and there is absolutely no need to wear compressive garments. As the size of cannulas has been greatly reduced, so has the size of the scar, which has become practically invisible. Dr. Grossman’s patients return to work the next day most of the time, gym work outs are allowed in just three days and going to the beach with open water swimming is allowed in less than a week for the majority of his patients.

Dr. Grossman is one of the most experienced Plastic Surgeons in the world, when it comes to the Transumbilical Breast Augmentation (TUBA) technique, as he has been performing this Celebrity’ Choice for breast augmentation since 1996, offering this wonderful procedure to many of his patients seeking scarless breast enhancement surgery. With this procedure, the incision is placed within the confines of the navel, creating a better augmentation without the obvious scars anywhere near the breasts. Dr. Grossman’s Fat Transfer Technique provides patients with a unique, yet permanent improvement in the face and body. Scarring is nonexistent, bruising is extremely rare and complications associated with a Face Lift are never seen.

This very same, special Stem Cell Fat Transfer Technique has allowed patients to have Breast Augmentation, Brazilian Buttocks Augmentations, Brazilian Buttocks Lift and Fill, as well as Calf Augmentations using cells that come from their own body.
